Neurofeedback is no longer just for the select few or elitist. It has been around for decades, and is finally gaining recognition and acceptance among mainstream society making it more affordable for all to utilize. While many people remain skeptical, we would encourage you to try it for yourself and see just how wonderful and effective it is.

Low Energy Neurofeedback (LENS) is a passive, non-talk therapy that is tailored to your specific needs. It has been shown to be effective with depression, anxiety, ADHD, addictions, PTSD, motivation, memory issues, fatigue, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), fatigue, performance optimization or other issues related to the Central Nervous System (CNS). In some cases, with collaboration from your doctor, it has been used as an alternative to medication.

Basically, Neurofeedback allows your brain to achieve optimal functioning and flexibility by disrupting stuck, maladaptive or suppressed patterns. Over time our brain develops certain ways of doing something, these patterns can become entrenched, or rigid. The brain can not discern if these pathways are optimal or not, until it has an opportunity to have these brainwaves “mirrored” back to it. This feedback process allows the brain to correct itself for optimal effectiveness. Our bodies and brain are simply amazing! This technology has been FDA approved and has fewer radio frequencies than the average cell phone. It can be a stand-alone therapy or used as an adjunct with other therapies. Sessions are typically shorter in length and duration than standard therapy, and with lasting results.

Neurofeedback is a proactive way to maintain good brain functioning and overall good general mental health.
